August TBR Schedule

Steph: Welcome to Late Night Reads. I'm Steph.

Megan: And I'm Megan.

Steph: And it's time to share our TBR schedule for August. Each week, we deep dive into a new book, alternating between the contemporary romance and romantasy genres. As always, our August TBR is packed with six great reads that we know you'll love. First up is the contemporary romance In Good Company by Kat Singleton on August 6th. It's our first billionaire romance book that we're covering on the podcast, and has some incredible spice.

Megan: I cannot wait. Show me the money, baby. And then it's time for our romantasy episode of the month. It's a double feature. That's right. We are covering the first two books in The Wolves of Crescent Creek series by Tessa Hale. So we'll be dropping an episode for Crescent Kingdom and Eclipsed Empire on August 13th. We're still in our why choose era. And of course, why choose? Why not? And we're quickly devouring both books in this series.

Steph: Our bonus episode in August is the fifth book in the Blood and Ash series, A Soul of Ash and Blood by Jennifer Armentrout on August 18th. We cannot wait to find out what happens to Poppy, Casteel, and Kieran after defeating Isbeth or Isbitch in the awakening of Kolis.

Megan: Oh yes, need to know. And then on August 20th, we are covering the contemporary romance, Only In Your Dreams by Ellie K. Wilde. This book has all the tropes that we love. You got friends to lovers, second chance, sibling’s best friend, and so much incredible spice.

Steph: Our last episode for the month is on August 27th, and we're covering the third book in the Flesh and Fire prequel series, A Fire in the Flesh by Jennifer Armentrout. We are dying to know what's going to happen to Sera now that she's been captured by Kolis. We cannot even imagine that Nyktos is going to stand for any of this. Bring on the shadow daddy.

Megan: Oh my gosh, can't wait. Then we are continuing our author interview episodes with new ones dropping on Fridays. We are excited to highlight even more great authors and the amazing books that they create on our show.
