Steph: Welcome to Late Night Reads, I'm Steph.
Megan: and I'm Megan.
Steph: And it is time to share a TBR schedule for November. Each week we deep dive into a new book, alternating between contemporary romance and romantasy. And we are kicking off November 5th with part two of our in-depth coverage into The Primal of Blood and Bone by Jennifer Armentrout. There's a lot to talk about. That's why it is two full episodes that are multiple hours long. And this will cover chapter 33 through the end of the book, plus all of our extremely unhinged theories. Prepare yourself.
Megan: Then it's time for our first contemporary romance episode of month and we are still definitely in our hockey romance era. That's why we are diving into the second book in the Jacksonville Rays series Pucking Wild by Emily Rath on November 12th. So we first met Tess and Ryan in Pucking Around and could not wait to see how this age gap couple fell in love. Like 10 years apart but when love exists, it exists. So prepare for some serious spice in this book. It is going to get puckin' wild. I love the puns. I'm in the hockey era. I love it.
Steph: Our second romantasy episode is the Fall of Ruin and Wrath by Jennifer Armentrout on November 19th. It features a character that popped up in The Primal of Blood and Bone. Yes, we're looking at you, Thorne, and gives us a glimpse into a whole new world. Plus, there are definitely some connections to the Blood and Ash world, so you know we're gonna be talking about where this series fits into the timeline and what else it might mean for Thorne's role in the next book in the Blood and Ash series, The Throne of Bone and Ash. Plus, who does not wanna talk about the dashing, really tempting Thorne in all of his mysterious ways? Cause I sure do.
Megan: I love it when he pops out of the room and he's like, hey guys, what's up? And I'm like, you have more to your story. What is your story? I want to know.
Steph: Also, you are very attractive.
Megan: Hello, hello, Thorne. Yes. And then on November 26, we're going into full Christmas mode with Meghan Quinn's latest book, Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animal. We are always here for a rom-com by Meghann Quinn, but one that's in a Christmas-centric town where one main character owns a Christmas tree farm and the other is plotting to be his rival. We get some spice. It is so good. Sign us up, please. Talk about a great way to kick off the holiday season as well.
Steph: Plus, we may have a few more surprises planned for November, so stay tuned to our social channels for more details.
Megan: And we hope you read along with us so you are well prepared to deep dive into these books with us starting on November 5th.
