Steph: Welcome to Late Night Reads, I'm Steph.
Megan: and I'm Megan.
Steph: And it's time to share our TBR for September. Each week we deep dive into a new book, alternating between contemporary romance and romantasy genres. As always, our September TBR is packed with five great reads that we know you're gonna love. First up is the contemporary romance, Only Between Us by Ellie K. Wilde on September 3rd. It is the second book in the Oakwood Bay series. And if you love Zac in Only In Your Dreams, then you are going to go absolutely feral over Brooks.
Megan: I am already just like so feral over him. I can't wait. Then it's time for our romantasy episode of the month. We're diving into Visions of Flesh and Blood by Jennifer Armentrout on September 8th. This is a comprehensive companion guide to the Blood and Ash and Flesh and Fire series, and it's told from the point of view of Miss Willa. Yes, that's right, our favorite Miss Willa, who gets into all sorts of fun things. So it's a great way to recap everything that's happened in both series so far. Plus, we get some excerpts from Miss Willa's diary and a few new POVs for some of our favorite scenes. But not the joining.
Steph: Our second romantasy episode is the final book in the Flesh and Fire series, Born of Blood and Ash by Jennifer Armentrout, on September 10th. We cannot wait to find out what happens next with Sera as the Primal of Life and Queen of the Gods. We do not think Kolis is going to be too happy about that.
Megan: And then on September 15th, we are covering the first few chapters of The Primal of Blood and Bone. Jennifer Armentrout so graciously shared that with the world. Thank you so much, but I need more, such a teaser. But we are going to discuss what we learn in these chapters and also discuss all of our crazy theories for what we think is going to happen the rest of the book. Who knows if we're right? Probably not, but it's still fun. And the book is going to drop on September 23rd. But don't worry, we're going to do a deep dive into the entire book with an episode on October 22nd.
Steph: Our second contemporary romance episode is Happily Never After by Paisley Nash. We firmly believe that everyone needs to meet Kade Archer. He is a broken bad boy who turns out to be an incredible sweetheart and the mouth on that man. There are not enough words to describe how incredibly hot everything he says to Georgia is and what he does with a honey stick.
Megan: I will never look at Honey the same way. But that's okay. And then our last romantasy book for the month is The Wolf King by Lauren Palphreyman on September 24th. This book gives you everything that you want. You've got a kidnapped princess the night before her wedding by an alpha werewolf and an ongoing war between humans and wolves, enemies to lovers, a slow burn that really heats up to some incredible spice, and more jaw-dropping secrets than you can imagine. Cannot wait.
Steph: And we are continuing our author interviews with new ones dropping on Fridays. We might also have a few surprises up our sleeves for this month, too.
Megan: You'll have to find out. So we hope you read along with us so you are well prepared to deep dive into these books starting on September 3rd.
